llama-index-tools-geekflare package gives LlamaIndex agents Geekflare as a tool spec: web and Google SERP search, page scraping to Markdown or structured JSON, page metadata, brand identity, screenshots, URL-to-PDF, and website diagnostics. It’s built on the official Python SDK and requires Python 3.10+ and llama-index-core 0.12 to 0.14.
Install
Set your API key
Get an API key at dash.geekflare.com and set it as an environment variable:YOUR_API_KEY with your Geekflare API key. You can also pass the key directly with GeekflareToolSpec(api_key="YOUR_API_KEY"). An optional timeout (in seconds, default 180) controls how long each call can run.
Use the tools in an agent
GeekflareToolSpec().to_tool_list() returns all 15 tools.
Select only the tools you need
Give the agent only the tools it needs by filtering on the tool name:Call tools directly
Tools
Each tool returns the API’s JSON response as a dict. API errors raiseGeekflareAPIError, which agents receive as a tool error.
Notes
- Each call spends credits from your Geekflare account. See Credit Consumption and pricing.
- Geekflare works with public pages only.
